A query in relation to when do you have to inform a company that you're pregnant?

I would assume that after the 3 month mark is best.

You aren't required to until 6 weeks before you are due to take maternity leave but if there are health & safety concerns then it would be advisable to do it earlier. You are entitled to paid time off for appointments so to avail of this you would also have to advise them earlier.

it kinda depends on your company (and to some extent you).

they are required to give paid, reasonable time off for doctors visits. So if you are going every 2 weeks to the dr/hospital, then you should let them know sooner rather than later so as to not have any issues with getting time off (or using up your time off).

If you dont really want them to know until later, the best time is then after the 20 week scan (which will probably be at 22 weeks if past experience is reliable )
