    I purchased a case 844 from the North and it arrived today

    Looking for info on the cab controls, what they are for etc

    Any pictures of inside the cab ? Are they the same as the 856xl 's ?

    no pics at the moment

    handbrake on the left of the steering wheel

    gears at my right hand

    I know the blights

    There is another handle beside the handbrake (also looks like a handbrake)

    How does lift woRk

    how u put on 4WD

    where is pick up hitch

    The handle beside the handbrake is a pto clutch for starting and stopping the pto . The main pto should be behind the lift controls on the right hand side .
    Is the lift the small yellow lever on you right ? Its up and down and I think theres another lever right beside it to control the height / depth .
    Our 4wd was an electric button on the dash but we changed it to a hydraulic lever on the left side as it gave trouble .
    PUH was a dromone on our tractor so was on one of the spool valves .

    Someone on adverts.ie sells the maintance manuals on a cd. Might come in handy.

    He seems to have them for a lot of tractors., I got one for my case 785

    Do you mean open the bonnet ? Theres a lever on the right hand side of the bonnet back near the windscreen that you pull back and lift the bonnet out towards the front of the tractor . The radiator is at the very front of the tractor

    Have a look on Facebook for "IH 3 and 4 Cylinder tractors" Its a closed group, so it might take a day for an administrator to get you added, but very informative.
