Hi there,
There is an issue with role permissions that is being worked on at the moment.
If you are having trouble with access or permissions on regional forums please post here to get access: https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058365403/you-do-not-have-permission-for-that#latest

Could this be economical and justified?

So want to increase my ewe numbers next year but don't want to pay big money at breeding sales. If I were to buy some Scotch eee lambs now weighing 36kg for 80e, would these be alright for ewes or would it just be a waste of money and time?

Seen 35kgs making €108,you'd be better off buying 3 year olds to full mouths in the marts for 60/70,still a year or two left in full mouth ewes and they'll get you away for this year

Buy draft ewes off the hill and cross with belclare or leicester. Keep the ewe lambs and kill everything else

Jesus, 35kg ewe lambs made 108 - that's savage money...

I would have said you're a bit late this year. I'd be afraid you'd be buying the worst performing genetics now - the poorest of lambs that didn't make factory grades...

I like Grassroots's suggestion. Not sure how easy twould be to find em tho?
