Dual Flush

We have a dual flush system installed, but half a flush is not strong enough to clear the system. Is it possible to override or adjust the dual flush functionality with these syphons, YouTube videos seem to concern a different type of syphon with a slider on the side,

    Picture attached,

    Thanks

Half flush for liquid and full flush for solids. Are you saying that the half flush won't flush liquid?

The toilet gets blocked regularly, this had been fixed with our old one by increasing the amount of water per flush.

Is it possible to override the half flush and just have it as a full flush? Given the toilet has a habit of getting blocked with the current setup

Just hold the button down longer that will give a full flush

Thanks for the suggestion but the toilet is in use frequently by different people who might neglect to hold it down, do I have to replace the flush valve to get it to behave differently?

No in most dual flush syphons you push handle for half flush and hold handle down for full flush
If this isn't working then s replacement would be required that would cost about €80 for supply and fit
