Hi I am just wondering if anyone can offer some help. My sister asked me to mod my nephew's Wii U. The only experience of doing any type of modding on a console was on an original Wii, which was a fairly easy job.
I have read up on what to do and seen various different methods. There is one thing that i need clarified; after the mod has been performed, will the console need to be online to play games? A few videos seem to indicate it does. My nephew is fairly young so his parents do not want him online.

Any help appreciated, and if this is against the charter I am sorry Mods delete if it is.
