    Hi, would it pass with this damage? No sharp edges, door opens and locks fine, window opens fine. Appreciate your help.

    Once it's mechanically safe then it will pass

    Cheers. How do you mean mechanically safe? My concern is there would be a bar behind the panel that is bent. Could this be a concern?

    Looks very superficial. I'm sure a lot worse would have passed the NCT.

    Basically mechanically safe ie brake system, steering , wheels not hanging off , tires amongst other things . If the door opens and closes properly and the window opens closes correctly and the inside of door isn't intruding where passenger would seat. Then it should pass

    That should pass.

    Looks like a nice clean dent though. I'd stick a bathroom plunger to that and give it a good yank and it'd probably come back fairly good.

    You could rub down the damaged area with a cloth and some petrol or white spirit.
