With the new model Astra out a while, I've noticed that there is no van variant available. Anyone know of Opel will be making it available? I've also noticed that Ford have stopped advertising the Focus van too.

The vrt is higher if it isn't a factory van job AFAIK. That's probably the reason.

Hyundai do the i30 estate in van form, or at least they used to.

They stopped doing the focus and Leon van as they were coming in as cars and being converted here meaning higher VRT as colm said. Golf van is done in the factory and is the main one being sold here now. Not sure about the Astra but when they done them 2 years ago they were way too expensive relative to the golf.

Was that on the first gen? I know the pro van was based on the 3 door but there was no 1st gen 3 door. So maybe that's why?

The company I work for has a fleet of Astra and Focus vans (and cars), most from 2013, plus a few 2016 Auris vans. There are also a few newer 2015 and 2016 Focus's, including vans but I noticed that Ford have stopped advertising the Focus vans on their website in recent times so guessing they are not being offered any more.
