I have being with digiweb for the past few years and a few months ago I moved home, I transferred my account to my new address on the 22 September and to date I still have no connection due to problems with phone line, engineers from KN keep letting me down, not turning up and when they do they don't seem to know what to do! Anyway, iv been looking at digiweb freedom metro and I'm wondering if it is any good for pc gaming? I will be playing battlefield 1 and call of duty games, is this package able for online gaming, I will also be using it for other general Internet activities such as surfing the Web, YouTube and Netflix but mostly online gaming! Has anyone any experience with digiweb metro?

I've been with them for over 7 years now and have never had any issues gaming. I've played Counterstrike, Bf3, Bf4 and currently playing Bf1 with regular pings of 15-20, no lag. On the 30mb Metro Unlimited package in Athlone.

It would also probably depend on distance from the base station, I am about 4km direct line of sight, only a handful of outages that I can remember in that time period and all were resolved pretty quick.

I know enterprise customers plagued with dropped links. It'd be bottom of my list.

Really?? I am surprised at this. Are they definitely on the Metro (wireless) package and not one of the copper/fibre packages?

    Metro, multiple sites in Dublin.

    They're moving to VDSL.
