I'm going to build a 3 link slatted unit and i have a couple of questions on design.
    1. What width would the passage way need to be?
    2. It is going to be 35" wide would that be too narrow to put 3 pens in it?

As wide as possible, great to be able to push silage in straight with the loader.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

The department grant spec/guidelines say minimum 4m wide.

Could you feed around the outside in a U shape?? It'd save room inside in the shed

    Thanks for replies.
No need for a wide one here with the few ill be feeding so trying to keep it narrow. My tank is only running up one link so I was thinking of keeping
that link a couple of foot wider ie. Narrower passage.
The tank is only 13ft so would it cause a problem of the first 3ft beside was just concrete?
