Paying €1m for a 3400sq foot apartment in Dublin City Centre seems a lot cheaper than equivalent sized properties in the suburbs.

i was actually in these apartments, serious issues with water leaks , half of the timber floors have been taken up due to water damage and the timber windows are all leaking and starting to rot

If you know all this then why do you need help identifying if its a 'rip off' or not.

Obviously some issue you had with the builder / developement and are now trying to "get back" at someone.

btw - these were mothballed a few years ago and have now been finished to what seems a high standard. They also come with structural guarantees and anyone spending €1m+ will get a surveyor to check them out.

Certainly €1m for 3300 sq ft in centre of Dublin would be considered value to many in the tech sector.

30 seconds looking on daft and one of the first Dublin apartments I see is a 3 bed 1012sq ft apartment in Spencer Dock for €445k.

2.5 times the price for a penthouse that's over 3 times larger would suggest to me that the penthouse is underpriced if anything.

    You beat me to it.
The living space is enormous compared to the average Dublin City apartment.

And cheaper (per sq ft) than the average apartment

OP you posted this in the wrong forum. It should have gone into bargain alerts :D
