Attic stairs cut too short

    Hi,
    we have just put in a n attic stairs and it has been cut just a tiny bit too short!!! I know this is potentially dangerous and could pull it away from the ceiling so any advice on how to fix/correct/ mend-and-make do would be very gratefully received!Thanks!
