Smartpress Electronic Pump Control; Troubleshooting Help.

    Hi All

I am hoping that someone can help me out with a small problem.

I have a 500l tank in my attic which supplies my hot & cold water (except kitchen sink, mains) at pressure to all user points. This is done using a submerged pump controlled by a smart press controller.
My understanding is that the controller senses a pressure drop (user point opening, tap etc) and activates the pump. This works fine and is very effective.

The problem I am having is that the pump is activating intermittently when there is no demand , initially I was thinking a leak and cannot seem to find anything obvious. I did notice that the supply to my tank does seem to be leaking some supply into the tank, could this be causing the issue? I don t see how.

Any help from some experienced people would be very much appreciated

    Many Thanks

    K
