wallpaper problem

    Hi folks just putting up wallpaper n grandmother's house when I took of wallpaper was a bit if dampnesd so painted damp seal on it after washing it but today when I called over the wallpaper is ringing wet s its a ln outside wall from about 2ft up from ground

    So my dilema is what do I do now was thinking of the aluminium foil you paste it on to wall which did stop it in a room I had once

    Should I start from scratch again or will lift wallpaper and put foil on

    Any help appreciated I know its Dampness she don't have much money

    I'd look at the cause of the damp first.

    Is there no ventilation in the room or is it water coming from a leak?

    Unless you know this, there is no easy or cheap fix.

    its cold air hitting warm air its always been there this time of the year its getting colder
