    Hey lads,

Not sure where to post this but I guess Racing Sims has a good audience for this.

So just released is a mobile port, but not so much port than a completely new game of Motorsport Manager. Here's a sumup of what's on the PC version:

Honestly this game crept up on me without much notice but I'm blown away by the amount of content and attention to detail added to the PC version. Reviews on Steam are extremely positive too.

There's also mod support via the workshop so this game looks like it could be a winner.

RPS gave a positive review, IGN ES gave the game 9/10

Curious about this, though I never played the mobile game. Hopefully 3D engine doesn't look completely wacky (as has happened with Football Manager sometimes). Positive reviews on Steam and a fairly thorough review on F1 Fanatic make it a tempting purchase.

Quite a few streaming it over on twitch too.

Welp I'm in love with this game. Pretty in depth but not overly complicated that would completely burn you out.

5 races in. Picked slowest championship with slowest team. Best result is a 5th in the 5th race, it was a wet race and I pit early for dry tyres and it paid off. Other than that top 15 seems out of reach, at least for this season.

Is the mobile version any good? I just got a new phone and seen this is there for €1.99.

From what I've played, the mobile version is pretty dumbed down but still enjoyable nonetheless.

I played a full season. I picked the second worst team in the worst championship.

I found it a little too easy. I managed to hire an unreal unemployed 4 star driver. He consistently outclassed his team mate and ended up on the podium for each of his first 3 races. It seemed so unrealistic as my car was by far the worst in the championship.

He finished the season with 2 wins under his belt.

As a motorsport fan I quite enjoyed it. But as a strategy / management sim fan I found it lacking. It could have been so much more in depth. Once I understood the basics it was very much rinse and repeat.

Not sure if I'll rush back to play it again. I regret paying full price for it. But it's not a bad game if you can get it for 10-15 quid.
