Buffering polished tiles?

I got polished porcelain tiles in about 6 months ago, the same on the floors and walls.

The floor tiles are perfectly glossy and polished, but Iv noticed the wall tiles have a slight tarnish to them. It's difficult to explain, but it seems there is a slight film in them. Iv tried to clean them down, thinking it's still the grout but nothing is shifting it.

I'm wondering had the tiles been properly cleaned after grouting, and has the grout etched into the tiles somehow?

If so, is it possible to buffer the tiles to get them to their proper polished finished?

    Thanks.
