1995 Starlet. The hazards work but the indicators have stopped working on both sides. The other functions on the stalk work fine. The Indicator fuse is OK. Any ideas ?

I think the indicator fuse and the hazard light fuse are separate on these. You def checked the indicator fuse?

It could be the stalk alright.

Yes definitely not the indicator fuse. The obvious question is whether there are two relays, one for hazard & one for indicators ?

One other possible issue would be the hazard switch (if it's the newer model) they can stick halfway and stop the indicators from working.

Belt it a few times with the indicators on.

Thanks. I have just been told that the stalk is a known issue. I think that I have got one for a tenner just in case.

It's very likely to be the stalk. Just no harm eliminating everything else before ripping the steering column.

Tried plugging in a different stalk/switch & still no indicators. Is there a separate flasher unit for the indicators & hazards ?
