Is it possible to clean a mattress of stains?

I only bought a new mattress a few months back, and not once, but TWICE, my niece has had an accident on it!! First world problems and all that, but seeing as its new it is kinda annoying. Ive googled and if you get it fresh maybe the baking soda trick would have worked but its too late now. I was thinking a steamer?
    Anyone successful in cleaning one?

    Hi mel.
I tried cleaning up a mattress myself just this week.I made a mixture of bread soda and hydrogen peroxide and rubbed it in with a cloth.
    The mattress isn't spotless,but it's a huge improvement.
