No hiding anymore Halloween is over and Christmas build up is in full swing.

So what presents have you bought and for who? Any good deals?

What are you looking for for yourself off other halves/ family?

I'm going starting mine on Saturday with a trip to dundrum

I'm not really too concerned about receiving anything. I've a young son and a couple of nephews. Will get them things that they can smash, but not fit in their mouth.

    A 50 inch plasma TV ?

I've got almost all of mine done. I'm allergic to the physical act of shopping so its all done online and usually finished in about 30 mins flat.
    God bless you amazon.

Living abroad so I tried to do all my shopping online and get it shipped home last year. Everything went beautifully until the parcels came to Ireland and half of the couriers couldn't find the house and just shipped it all back. This year, I have no idea what to do. I'll get nothing for my Niece and Nephew and teach them the valuable lesson that life is **** sometimes.

I bought a new PC this afternoon for me.
It has red lights and is hyper, supercharged, turbo, warp speed fast.

I've a good bit done. Most of my brothers, all the kids I need to buy for except for a real hatchimal which is impossible to locate. Have about half of what I was getting the ex, and I think instead I'll just get him a big black dildo so he can go **** himself.

I only buy presents for the children. The adults get vouchers and bottle of whiskey or wine or chocolates. Much easier and everyone's happy.

Anything decent you wont be giving to the ex can go in the Boom_Bap donation box.

Vouchers for the theatre? Like the O2 (whatever it's called now) or The Gate.

Got most of the kids' stuff already and only a few more other bits and pieces to get for friends and family.

I prefer to chill out in the week(s) before Christmas, not wading through crowds and fighting the urge to stab people.

I believe all our presents are bought and wrapped, a big thank you to Mrs MadDog ............. I love it on Christmas Day when somebody is opening a present from me, I'm as excited as them to see what I got them!

All my shopping is done, my 6 year old is getting loads of books, a second hand PS3 and games, a kickmaster, guess who, hatchimal, Jurassic park Lego, thunderbirds figures and vehicles.

My 1 year old is getting a shopping trolley and dolls house, baby doll, Skye walking dog from paw patrol, Care Bears figures and teddy and a Minnie Mouse chair. They'll both get toothbrushes and toothpaste in their stockings, an orange, and some little bits.

We have 8 nieces and nephews so I got them the boy/girl who lost their name books, a hallmark reading buddy Watson, a Lego friends tour bus, miles from tomorrow spaceship, Jurassic park Lego, skylanders, spot the dog books, board games, the series of unfortunate events collection, a pandora bracelet, my little pony stuff, science stuff...think that's it :D I LOVE GIVING PRESENTS!!!!!! Love seeing everyone at Christmas, love the cold, the lights, the bustle, the last minute panic shopping, the wrapping, hot chocolate, nights in by the fire...love everything about Halloween to Christmas.

We decided years ago to not buy for each sibling or outlaws.

Then bah humbug the nieces and nephews were thrown out after 18 yrs of age. Birthdays make up for that!

So now it's just mother and the four little nieces and nephews.

We all meet up on Christmas Day and have the craic, but not getting stupid crap from each other is the best thing ever.

As I said, the kids are no. 1. and I'm sure many will agree.

It is about having a bit of fun with each other and not worrying about work in the morning etc.

It's all about the kids isn't it? That's where the magic is always.

I don't even think of Christmas shopping till the first week of December. I don't have too many presents to get so I'll make sure the ones I do get are worthwhile.

I always like to also treat myself to something when I go Christmas shopping.:D
