A friend of mine who is from the US is currently in the UK, and will be stopping off in Ireland before returning to the US in December.

He'd like to purchase some expensive souvenirs in the UK due to the weak sterling and take them home to the US.

Can this all be handled in the UK, even though he's flying home via Ireland?

Is there anything which must be done here in order to avail of the scheme?

    Thanks,
    Kevin
