    so parents have to wake up the kids, tell them the bad news and then run around getting lunches and bags ready

    banana republic or what? :mad:

    I of course suggested a facebook campaign to keep all the kids off tomorrow and see how the teachers like it

    Why would parents have to wake them to let them know? If the child was in bed and asleep then any sensible parent would just wake them in the morning in time to go to school.

    I'm guessing you were one of the non sensible parents. Hopefully your children returning to school will ensure that they receive a better education and learn a little more sense than you did.
