Exceptionally needs payment for pushchair

I was advised by someone that I should apply for a special needs payment to help in covering the costs of buying a pushchair once my baby is born. I'm just wondering whether anyone who has ever applied and gotten it, what was the amount that you had received from community welfare to cover the cost of this? Or whether anyone knows how much they give towards it?

Have you looked into buying second-hand? On adverts and donedeal are some pretty good deals for pushchairs in good condition.

Depending on where you live, there is also a shop in Dungarvan that's specialized on pre-owned Baby stuff.

    Maybe worth looking into it!
