    Hi everybody,
I have done already some research in the past but I am up again with the problem.

We are a very small group (3 at the moment in Dublin) of people, looking to set up an association. What we do is "acting", theater and similar.
We have our own full time job and not looking to do that for money, but just for passion.

I would really like to make this official, having a constitution, being able to get an insurance, pay costs or getting refunds if we do some performances and so on.

It will be for sure a non profit organization.
I have read about non profit needing to be "Companies Limited by Guarantee (CLG)"...
does this apply to our case?
    We are only 3 people...

I believe we are not a charity.. of course I am willing to pay tax if we have to, but could "cultural reasons" be a charity reason?
If we are not a charity will we pay tax over earnings (well I am sure we will have only losses)... or are there fixed charges only to setup an association?

I know it's a lot of questions, I have been at the revenue office and CRO before but didn't get much help.

I believe we will need an accountant but I don't want to just get a random one off google.
If you have any tips even via PM will be appreciated!

    Thanks!
