Hi, i would like a brief answer is possible.
My grandfather would like to sell a second home both he and my grandmother own. She has alzheimers, and is in no fit state of mind to sign anything.
Do any of you know how much it would cost for him to go to court and have ger name taken off the deed ? Please include everything in tge general estimate. Thank you, max.

Maybe the GM's wishes for the house are covered in her will if she made one when of sound mind.

He should go to court and seek a power of attorney over her affairs.

Unless she signed a power of attorney when she was of sound mind it cannot be done. She would have to be made a ward of court and the committee would have to decided there was a good reason for the house to be sold, such as money was needed for her care.

I'd suggest that you should contact solicitors and ask for fee estimates concerning a possible Ward of Court application.
