So basically the only answer is to reduce entry numbers which likely equals to increased entry fees?

Would you pay double the entry for a clean race?

Would flipping the order make much of a difference? Swim-Run-Bike?

This would be ok for shorter distance races but the slower people doing an Ironman could be cycling for 6 hours in the dark, definetly a new skill to learn.

or you could try this event :)

The other option is to look outside of MDOT and pick smaller races or tougher IMDOT races like Lanzarote, Nice, Wales, Weymouth
