I got a new ideal boiler 5 months ago and it stopped working this evening.
The staus bar says it is calling for power but the burner will not come on. Anyone any idea how to solve this issue please and thanks.

There are two indicators on the/a gauge. A black one that is at almost zero and an orange one that is at almost 4 the highest number.

i'm not a plumber but from my experience the black dial should be between 1.5 bar and 2. Try at 1.5 bar. The orange bar is usually only an indicator where the black bar should go to. 4 bar is too high by the way. The safety release should release pressure around 2.5 or 3 bar. You need to get pressure into the system. Usually the tap is in the hot press but each house could be different. When i put pressure into our system (we have a small leak somewhere) the wife stays at the boiler and shouts up when the pressure reaches 1.5 bar and I shut the value back off. If there is zero pressure, the boiler won't fire up. Let me know how you get on.
