Alternatives to St. Anton

There's 8-10 of us hoping to go away in late February and St. Anton would have been ideal but seemingly we're too late as it's quite hard to find any reasonable accommodation.

Where might be a decent alternative that wouldn't be already fully booked accommodation wise? All males early 20's and in terms of good skiing v good apres ski our priorities would be about 50:50. We shouldn't need any lessons but some members may wish to snowboard.

I’ve stayed in both.. they are both excellent and quiet.. reasonably priced for Ischgl.

Les 2 Alpes has good skiing/boarding, and the apres-ski is fairly crazy. The Vallee Blanche area is easier, and less busy, probably more suited to beginners and intemediates and the other side of the valley is good for intermediates and experienced - it also has a glacier ski area - that side gets a bit like the M50 in the evening when the lifts are closing down though.

Verbier, probably a little more pricey, but not much more than St Anton except for booze!

    Mayrhofen

    Tignes

Thanks all, I've found a few spots on AirBnB that might actually work in St. Anton but I'll give Isghcl a good look too before we make a call.

    I'd say Ischgl too.
If you're looking for a spot in St Anton, we stayed here, great spot. Ski in/out & great location, a few mins down the hill to the main street.
