Asus eshop are having a 50% sale on selected phones and tablets. Delivery requires a UK address (addresspal or parcel wizard etc).
    Asus Zenfone 4, 5 and 6 available
    and
some Memo Pads and Transformer pads.
    http://eshop.asus.com/en-GB/
The sterling exchange rate at the minute makes the sale seem even better.
Some accessories are available with 30% off.
There is also 50% off refurbished goods but they are out of stock at the moment.

Thanks; I'm tempted but I hear these Asus products are loaded with bloatware and unwanted apps that are next to impossible to uninstall and just sit on the device sucking bandwidth as they update.
    Anyone else hear this?

I had an Asus Transformer a couple of years ago and it had a serious amount of bloatware on it. Have been reluctant to buy Asus again.

    That's what I heard alright.

This amazon reviewer seems to agree......
"This device is let down by the amount of Asus applications installed on the device. It borders on around 20 and not one of them is of any use. I don't; want to use Asus storage. I have drop box, google drive and one drive. I don't want to install Asus supernotes because I use Evernote. Asus deals with hardware. Trying to get people's details for marketing by forcing applications which are substandard to free apps already widely available is a stupid strategy. I can;t delete these apps. They remain on the device. They keep need to be updated, so when I want to use my device it just keeps on using bandwidth to download useless asus updates. A great device let down by the apps preinstalled and undeletable. This experience has completely put me off buying any other Asus Device."

Unless there is an easy way to clean up the device?

A ZP6 £250 down to £125 is still a crap buy IMO. Not so great Intel platform, 720P, 2GB (ok) and no LTE.

Look up root and debloat asus (xxxxx) on google and it is quite easy.

    For example - http://bfy.tw/8bK5

As for the Zenfone 6, I think 125 is an okay price (especially if not comparing to Chinese phones), but admittedly, if you look around, there are probably better phones for that price.

But the Memo Pad @ 60pounds is a great price. Well worth the 70euro including addresspal.

Needed a tablet for my 7 year old for Christmas to replace his broken Nexus 7, this fit the bill nicely. Cheers OP!

Hi op thanks for the post. I'm just wondering would it accept Irish billing address. How did you place the order. Thanks

Yes. I have ordered two for separate people.
I ordered one for my mother and one for my sister, i used the same billing address but two separate parcel wizard accounts.
I used my credit card billing address here, to order.

Thanks. But in the billing section I have no option to choose Ireland other than UK. Any suggestions?

Did you even read the op?

Yes . I did read op s post. My question was about the billing address not on the delivery address. On the billing address section I couldn't choose Ireland.

    Yep, as above. :)

I forgot the 'billing' address comes up to enter, I used my Irish CC, but for the address i used a mail forwarding company.
