Contract question

    Hi I'm working in a factory for the past two years. I was given a 6 month contract at the beginning and it was not renewed but I continted working there. I was let go for 3 weeks in the summer of 2015 and brought back to work in the company. I'm just wondering would that break my original contract of employment. Can they still let me go at a moments notice?
