Cheap non gas tight welder

    Considering buying one if the above from ebay , it be for light work like sills, exhausts, bodywork etc....just wondering if anyone used one an if they any good?

    Presuming you mean TIG, it'll probably be fairly ****e to be honest.
    Flux core TIG rods are a pain in the ass too.
    If it's just light work on your own car, get a cheap MMA plant and some good lessons.

    For occasional DIY Car Bodywork stuff a Gasless Mig would be the cheapest option. And with a bit of practise the results would be fairly decent.

    Yeah was ment to be MIG welder bloody spell checker....I've done a fair bit of welding in the past so bit of practice I should he grand was just hoping one of these gasless machines be good for light work like car bodywork etc

    I've a transit laying up sills or rotten so was going to stick new ones on meself wouldnt make sense paying big money for welding and in fairness some if the jobs I've seen by so called welders is a joke so least I know I'll do it right and there won't be any short cuts etc
