    Well,
Following on from my Carpro thread where I was very pleased with the results of both CQUK and DLUX <<< This is still working brilliantly on the wheels and plastics ( mirror surrounds ), I am now turning to more Medium durable products as my car will be sold withing the next few months.
I toyed with the idea of collinite 845 ans also Soft99 Fusso, but I thought.Nah.! Too much work.
As I had previously used KKD shampoo, and found it excellent I decided to give some well praised products a go.

    Those being
    KKD SiCoat

Supposed to be simple to use and last up to 4 months.

Well, I foamed and washed the car. Dried it .
Gave it a wipedown with some Carpro Eraser that I had left over since my cquk application.

I then misted on some Sicoat on one panel and spread, Moved on to another panel and repeated.
Moved back to panel one to buff as it says give 30 seconds between application and buffing.

Continued and finished to whole car which took probably 5 minutes.
Had a cuppa and a sambo.
Gave a second application in case and spot was missed.

So for now I can confirm the first part.
    Ease of use.
Think of this as a QD.
Mist> Spread> one wipe to buff basically.
I will advise one thing. Have a good grip on the MF you are buffing with as it will possibly slip out of your hand.
The slick feel to the paint is fantastic.
One of the easiest and most rewarding products I have tried with a long time.
    Now for the durability.
I will keep you posted on that.

Second product I bought was KKD Purity X

This can be used in several ways.
It would be best to read up on it in the above link as to how best to use it.

I plan on using it as a top up / QD for the SiCaot.

Havent used it yet as I want to see what the Sicoat is like on its own

Third product was KKD Brake Away

As I have my wheels treated with Dlux they are normally easy enough to clean.
This time I decided not to actually wash them, Instead I used a solution of Brake Away 10/1 and sprayed the wheels . Let it dwell for maybe 5 minutes and blasted them with the pareeure washer.
I was again very pleased with how they came up.
Left them at that as I wanted to see how they would look when they dry out.

I also bought some KKD Mist X

This I havent used either but got it to test at some point as i have read great reports again.
There is also a little "mix" that can be done with this and Purity X at a certain ration to give insane gloss levels.

For now I will leave you with some of the finished stage of my car.

CG Tyre Gel on the tyres very lightly as I have nothing else to use for now.

I am very very pleased with the slickness ond gloss from the SiCoat so far.

Thanks for the write-up. I'd be interested in hearing how long it lasts as it sounds a whole lot easier to apply than two coats of Collinite. You can guess why I'm asking. I'm waiting on a vehicle to arrive that will probably take three or four days to do......

Good review vectra, Car looks mint as always....
I'm due a change around the same time as you and I'm thinking of white this time, it will probably be another Audi A3, have you enjoyed having the white car.

Well certainly see them being popular, especially if the durability is as good as they say. Although normally I would take there guestimates and cut in to 2/3rds.

Certainly keeps car looking well, also looks like your parked on street where the Nissan garage throws the crash cars they pick up, old mans Skoda went there ages ago.

    Bang on the button
Nissan is gone from there now with a few years.

Was a while ago maybe 2010 roughly, I had to go down there to collect some bits and a disability chair from the ol Fabia after he butchered it on some ice one morning. Alot of swearing was done on that day, weighed absolute ton that seat and trying to lift bugger in to rear of Astra.

Wait to hear on durability and news etc.

You most likely saw my white vrs parked up then?
    What color was the fabia?
There was a helluva lot of crashed cars parked in there around then.

    I would find
it very difficult to change to any other color to be honest.

Grey estate and all of its 1.2 magnificence, can't remember what model it was. Not long had a coat of 3d paste wax. Would have been recognizable on account of not being a straight panel on it.

About the time I started paying more attention to detailing a bit more. One of my first thoughts were ah I only just washed that.

    Well
2 weeks on and my car is filthy.
My wife is nagging me to take it to the local wash and blast it down.
I am holding off to see how a proper wash works and to see the remaining protection from the SiCoat.
Just waiting on decent weather to get at it

Finally the weather was improved enough to give it a wash.

    Usualy snowfoam,
    Washed with KKD shampoo.
    Rinsed and dried.

I was surprised at how little dirt was on the car, mainly soot from my thoughtful neighbours.

Snowfoam did not remove and soot, but it came off with basically one swipe of the washmitt.
Paint still feels slick, simple to clean, and beading/sheeting is very good so far.

Most importantly the gloss is still very strong.

    Some befores and afters here.

    Well
I didnt have time to keep this properly up to date over the Christmas period, But the story goes like this.
Did not have time for proper washes so I popped in to the local Jetwash station and rinsed it down twice since last wash here.
No suds or anything was used in these, only rinse mode.

Got round to washing it yesterday and It looked prety deat.
Now on saying that is has got a bit of a trashing over the past weeks with trips to Dublin. Copious amounts of soot lying on it for a week or so at a time,

    So,

KKD Blizziard snowfoam on body and KKD wheel cleaner on wheels.
    Dwell and rinse

    Wash with KKD shampoo

    Rinse
Not much sheeting or beading after this so dcided it was time to test the KKD Purity X

So this gave me approx 2 months of protection instead of the UP TO 4 months.
On saying that it is a super simple product to use and well worth having it.
Would I buy it and use it again?
    Definitely.

Mixed 10ml with 1ltr or water and sprayed onto car.
Let it settle for a few minutes and pressure washed off.
Checked the beading / sheeting afterwards and it was much improved.
Probably not as good as the result from SiCoat but then again I did not aply it by hand,

    But happy with the results.

    Purity X dwelling
