Hot water zone of 4 zone system not operating

    Hi, all my rads in 3 zones are working properly, but the 4th zone for the hot water doesn't heat the water in the hot water cylinder.
    The cylinder is upstairs & the pump for the 4th zone to send water up seems to be a small bit hotter than the other 3 pumps.
    I checked if the shaft is spinning inside the pump when switched on & it is.
    Apart from a small bit of the pipe exiting the pump been hot, the rest of the pipe is cold. The 2nd pipe alongside the pump is cold as well, again a bit away from the pump location.
    Is this because of a lack of water in the system? And that the cylinder is upstairs?
