Cubase not seeing external programmes?

Hi there I'm using Cubase 5 and I can't manage to get Cubase to see any programme outside of cubase such as EZ drummer Amplitube etc. I have 3 hard drives on the PC so I understand that Cubase is in effect looking in the wrong place for them. An IT chap helped me set it up in the first place and everything just worked but…

Hi there

I'm using Cubase 5 and I can't manage to get Cubase to see any programme outside of cubase such as EZ drummer Amplitube etc. I have 3 hard drives on the PC so I understand that Cubase is in effect looking in the wrong place for them. An IT chap helped me set it up in the first place and everything just worked but then I had to reinstall cubase a while ago and since I did it the external vst instruments just don't show up. Is this a quick fix or a deeper problem?

Any pointers very much appreciated.
