    Hey,

    1. What is your budget? [€1000]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming] Latest games at 1080p with a good framerate. I would also like to be able to dual boot Linux.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes]

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [No]

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes]

5a. If yes, what size do you need. [23"]

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? []

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [No]

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes]

    8. How can you pay? [Credit Card/ PayPal]

    9. When are you purchasing? [Sometime this month.]

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [Co. Meath]

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

The components I had in mind, from looking at other builds, are:

    CPU:
    Intel core i5 6600k, from Mindfactory @ €231.84

    CPU Cooler:
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, from Amazon @ €33.72

    Motherboard:
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming ATX LGA1151, from Mindfactory @ €148.85

    Memory:
    Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000, from Mindfactory @ €88.39

    GPU:
    Sapphire Radeon RX 480 8GB NITRO+ OC, from Mindfactory @ €278.41

    Storage:
    Samsung 850 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" SSD, from Mindfactory @ €118.95

    Case:
Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case, from Amazon @ €61.81

    PSU:
Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply, from Amazon @ €59.57

    CPU is good.
Cooler is ok - there are better but I couldn't be bothered to look them up right now ;)
Motherboard: Asrock Fatal1ty Gaming K4 is very good value.
    TomsHardware:

Priced under $150 and occasionally as cheap as $130, the Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4 provides buyers with mid-tier CPU overclocking capability, high-end overclocking for two memory modules, a Killer E2400 network controller, and a DTS Connect-enabled ALC1150 audio codec. While mediocre overclocking of 4-DIMM modules reminds us that this isn't marketed towards elite overclockers, those other features have made it a top value compared to similarly-priced products.
RAM, buy whatever's cheapest on the day and above 2800Mhz.
GPU, RX470 4Gb provides 95% performance at reduced cost; GTX 1060 6Gb is faster than RX480 in most titles (but costs more)
SSD, the Crucial MX300 / Sandisk Ultra II series are better value (you won't notice the speed difference).
PSU, if you're going for a K-series CPU, invest in a good PSU! The EVGA SuperNova G2 is where it's at. Super cheap on AmazonUK.
