battery check app for windows

i have an old ipod 160gig ,It works fine ,but the screen is just white,
i just play songs using play ,next track ,etc
i can add songs using copytrans program.
So i,m looking for an app that can tell me battery level info.
eg 60 per cent charged ,90 per cent,100 per cent charged .
i,m using windows 7 .
does itunes have battery info.
i dont have itunes installed .
I just drag and drop mp3s into one music folder on the ipod.
I should have put in title battery check app for ipod .
could the mod change the title to battery check app for ipod

iTunes shows battery level of my iPhone when it's connected, so I would presume it would do the same for an iPod. My iPod lives in the glove box of my car connected to my stereo. It has the same issue of a white screen as yours. If you want me to check if iTunes displays the battery percentage, let me know and I will grab it from the car next time I'm driving

So if i down load itunes ,it,ll show the battery level in my classic ipod.
