Change of legal name

Basically problem is that in order to change the name on a passport the DFA website states they need evidence of use for a period of two years. That's fine, but how does one go about supplying bank statements or phone bills, when in order to open these accounts you generally need ID, a passport or driving licence as it were. Any tips?

You can get a bin co to collect your bins with little verification, and get a utility bill from them also.
    Same for Irish water.

yes but you have to pay by bank or credit card, both of which would be in legal name.

Lodge the deed poll, and just give a certified copy to the bank. They'll change the name for you then. Quite straight forward.

Most organisations except the passport office will accept a deed poll as proof of change of name with little fuss.

Wait 2 years and get the passport name changed.

Didn't do a deed poll was advised on court site you can just begin use of the new name. I'll get one done then. How much are they? I will get a solicitor to act as witness.
