    Hi,

We've had Pure Telecom pestering us on the phone so we eventually gave them a chance to pitch their sale.

We are currently getting between 12 and 13 megs with Vodafone. He said we are on the copper wire and they would upgrade us to the next generation broadband line. We would be getting a good 8 instead of a bad 12 apparently.
Is that a real thing or is he talking out his arse?

Sales nonsense sounds like. But if you're experiencing drop outs it may be the line is struggling, so in theory an 8mb downstream would increase stability. But as I say, he's likely blowing smoke. Anything to get a sale, eh.

As said, are you having problems now? If not, stay with who are are with now. They seem to want you to pay more, for less :pac:

It's fine. We used to have issues but I took out a new router I had lying around and I've had no issues since!
