    To be blunt.....because they weren't in lamb!

    Could be any number of reasons.....I found this forum good for info

    This year we had 4 out of 89 repeat after 17 days (out to 5 weeks with the rams now)....a marked improvement on a few years ago...

    ..from just basic things picked up on here and some improved management/being more strict on culling

    Hoping to increase numbers when I get home

    Same here ram could be in for 5 weeks. Last year I had zero empties in the main flock. However nearly everything lambed in 3 weeks. For the 1-2% that needed two cycles, they had singles and were culled afterwards.
