Trying to book a hotel and spa break for 2 ladies, need it to be special!
Basically I'd like to book them for nice meals, and especially a fancy spa treatment. Facials, nails, massage etc
    I'm looking at:
lough Rey hotel and spa in Galway
    Inchdoney island in cork
    Parknasilla in Kerry

    Any suggestions?
Want them to get really pampered and enjoy a nice Irish experience (both from abroad)

What kind of price range are you looking at?

There's the Lyrath in Kilkenny which is meant to be really good, or north of the border there's Galgorm which is amazing!

Out of those ones mentioned I'd recommend Parknasilla but it's pricey!

Budget was 500/600€ for 2 nights with spa treatments

I'm thinking Lough Rey as my 1st choice, for one night with spa treatment
Then 1 mile away there's a horse riding centre where they can do that, plus a hot tub in the trees, so stay there the second night

Take a look on the deal sites, they often have spa breaks at good prices. Especially this time of the year

I went to Louth Rea for a girls weekend last year and am going back again in a couple of weeks. It's a nice hotel, spa was lovely, food was good and the staff were absolutely spot on. However, it is a pretty standard 4 star hotel. It's outlook isn't great, it's just bang on one of the main roads into Loughrea. Also it doesn't have a pool which could be a drawback. However, it is lovely and very reasonably priced.

For your budget, I think the other two would offer more of a 'wow' factor. The setting of Incydonney is just stunning, although I haven't stayed there.

Are you coming from Dublin? I would recommend Farnham Estate, fantastic spa and pool area. They have an outdoor infinity pool which is lovely. I personally was very disappointed with the pool and spa in Lyrath, very bog standard and not up to the calibre of the rest of the hotel.

As other posters have you consider Monart? The seafield is another option

I'd recommend Parknasilla ,love the place and love the surroundings.Fabulous for walks and the spa and pool are great.I've heard the Europe is lovely also but I've never been there myself.
