Will the Judge hearing the case give a decision there and
then or do the parties have to wait long.
What is typical(as if any divorce is typical/standard)?

Sorry you must ask your own solicitor.
You cannot get legal advice on this forum
I will leave the thread open in case anyone has any general comments re procedure in Family Law. Forum rules apply

That isn't legal advice in looking for such as who would the Judge find to be in the wrong.. I'm discussing no particulars of the case, just enquiring about the process and whether Judges generally decide speedily or not. As I am not a party to the case no solicitor involved would speak to me about the case in question anyhow.
Family law is unknown as the process is completely hidden from outsiders due to the need for privacy.
anyhow not looking to start an arguement so OK.

Irish divorce is no fault so no one would ever be found "in the wrong".
