Anyone know of a supplier/installer of timber gates in Clare? Preferably looking for a goosewing design. Can't find much in Google. FRS seem to have a very limited selection.

There's a guy out near Tulla that does timber work. No idea if he does gates but maybe worth giving him a ring?

Doran Timber products is the name.

Thanks. Might give him a ring. He is practically non existent on the internet so it's hard to find reviews or even the type of work he does.

Old school business, word of mouth and has his regulars. I only know him as he used to make pallets for a place I worked in :)

You might consider getting steel frames welded up and sheeting them with treated timber.
You will end up with a stronger set of gates and easier to replace a few planks if any damage is done in future.

Thanks for the suggestions. Standish sawmills have some really nice gates.
