    Booked my driving test and was told there was a 20 week waiting list. That's March, that is ridiculous.
    Is this normal?

    I did my test 15 years ago and it was a 9 month waiting list.
    Ring for a cancellation if in a rush.

    Can't believe theres that many waiting. I'll prob ring them, how does a cancellation work? Will it be a days notice or longer?

    Basically you go on a list, when someone cancels you get their slot.
    The problem is it can be at short notice and at a time that might not suit you so be prepeared to be flexible

    Do you lose you money if you don't take a cancellation test? Do they email you or phone you? I rang the other day but they said there was nothing at all. Really need to get my licence soon but I wouldn't be able to do it in the next 3 weeks if something did come up.
