Hi , I am looking for some advice. I was just up in my attic and I noticed white blotches on the woodwork. I assume it is rot? Should it be treated somehow? I would appreciate if someone can confirm this? The beams are possibly 100years old so perhaps this is normal for their age. I had the atttic insulated about 3 years…

Hi , I am looking for some advice.

The beams are possibly 100years old so perhaps this is normal for their age. I had the atttic insulated about 3 years ago so it is possible that this is a new development however there is still a decent breeze up there.

Its impossible to identify from your picture. It needs to have better detail

of closer parts of the light coloured areas.
