My Eir broadband is now down over a week.

    Hi Guys

    I'm in Ballybrack. My Eir fiber went down last week. They sent out an engineer who spent two days trying to fix it. They made us re-route new wire internally. They replaced the router and had all sorts of explanations as to why our building was the issue. The last time they did something similar and charged us €100.

    Here comes the best bit. It turns out someone accidently hit the off switch on our connection in Eir. The bills etc were paid ok.

    They said they would turn it back on last week.

    It is still not on.

    Fortunately we also has www.webworld.ie broadband which is working fine (and ten times faster).

    Eir as a company just don't care.

    Please can you guys hit our on switch. Ballybrack Internet matters !

    If you contact the eir reps on their talk to forum, you might get a better outcome.

    I'm talking to them on their Facebook page. They promised again they would get back to me yesterday but never did.

    They really don't seem to care at all
