can we have country of the year for having to be responsible for this twat and not going on a collective shooting spree?

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

It's the modern world ffs. Bono is just as much a woman as any of the women uneasy with this nomination. The attacks on Bono have a wiff of misogyny imo.

It's always good to see the little people who wear platforms in their shoes gaining recognition. url]http://www.healthguidance.org/entry/15851/1/Short-Man-Syndrome-Explained.html[/url

I really hope that this exciting news will help the globally respected and highly influential "Glamour Magazine" to increase sales, although I won't be taking out a subscription, as I already know the best brand of lip gloss to use.

"Other winners of the award this year were Christine Lagarde, the head of the IMF; Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi, the co-founders of the Black Lives Matter movement; Simone Biles, the Olympic gymnast; Nadia Murad, the Yazidi human rights activist who survived being kidnapped by Isis; and “Emily Doe”, the woman who spoke out after being sexually assaulted at Stanford university."

I'm guessing your lip gloss is a lovely bacon flavoured sheen and your lipstick is a yummy white sauce lippy..

Close enough. But you neglected to mention the essence of Peruvian aniseed in the lipstick. It drives dogs demented!

People are talking about it, so as far as Glamour are concerned, mission accomplished.

What a load of bollocks. There are many women doing as mocha and alot more for women in Africa but he gets a pat on the back because he's famous.
My SIL is involved in the setting up and running of hundreds of schools in Africa/Asia aimed at the education of girls. It's these non-famous on the ground people who should be getting the praise.

Appropriate award since he's more woman than man sized & wears high heels. :)

Jenner won it but had it taken back due to outrage.

God, 10-15 years ago that would have been a joke headline in the likes of the onion, and it would have been seen as an insult. Now it's normality.

I don't know, there's plenty of awards bono has gotten and could be getting. I think it's a bit ridiculous to be giving him an award for being a woman, when he's not a woman. It wouldn't surprise me if the charity actually has a lot of women working hard for it, doing actual work, on the ground, putting themselves in danger. But no, the media spokesman should get the award because it will create more publicity.

Maybe he'll dress up from now on like like Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie. :)

Typical sexist comment, always about appearances, you wouldn't say that about a man!
