Ameican Golf 9 Hole Championship

    Anyone see the 9 hole championship on Sky Sports tonight? I see the infamous due Kevin Commons and Thomas Muldoon won. Incredible they get to compete in these tournaments year in year out.

    watched it as well some play from the two of them birdie after birdie but there handicaps never seem to change year after year in these tournaments out and out BANDITS....

    I assume 9 hole competitions don't count towards your official handicap. A bandit's paradise.

    But they do. Not sure about this competition, but generally speaking being a 9 hole competition idoesnortmean its not qualifying.

    Never heard of this btw. What are their handicaps?

    Some very interesting reading if you google the latter gentleman. Over the last few years he seems to have been a consistent performer in a variety of competitions - he's referenced in a thread on the forest of arden matchplay champs in 2014, he won the Turkish airlines world cup this year, had a trilby tour win, the same pair won the howdidido matchplay champs a couple of years back as well with plenty of threads to be found on various sites discussing them. Seems to have been off 17/16 a few years ago but saw a reference to a 13 handicap now...no comment...
