Sky installation no show

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this? I ordered a Sky tv broadband and phone bundle at beginning of October to be installed today. I received a phone call on Friday asking if we were interested in having installation on Saturday 29/10 instead. I agreed to this, got an email confirming and sat in all day waiting. When nobody had turned up by 4pm I rang the number which had called me and was told they had no record of an installation for Saturday or of a call to me on Friday but had a booking for Tuesday. I waited in again today and it was another no show. When I called the installation team I was told they had no record of a job despite me having proof of email and call logs. Sky have now contacted me saying it was a glitch in their system and that the earliest installation can happen is over 2 weeks away. In the meantime my current provider is turning my service off on Saturday. There's no budging sky on this it's more or less suck it up. I've been offered a discount of 3.25 per month. Any thoughts or advice on any comeback I may have would be greatly appreciated.

Best idea is use the Sky talk to... forum. The reps are very helpful. But as far as getting the installation faster it's not going to happen. I don't think anyone can help there. I guess you could use Netflix? If you use a proxy you could watch Hulu for 30 days free.

Edit: as far as comebacks the only one you have is cancelling your Sky order!

I doubt that will work without broadband :)

Sign of things to come from Sky I'm afraid. I'd advise anyone to stay away from them.
