    World Rugby Referee Award
    Jérôme Garcès (France)
    Alhambra Nievas (Spain)
    Jaco Peyper (South Africa)
    Rasta Rasivhenge (South Africa)

My picks so far. If England go unbeaten, Jones should get coach and England team of the year (Hansen/NZ if England lose and NZ don't in autumn). Unfair on NZ, but considering where England came from in 2015. Fiji 7s should be in consideration too.

Ref I'd go Garcès vs the 7s ref Rasivhenge he is excellent, but I don't know the Spanish ref.

Ireland's Jamie Heaslip is among six nominees for the World Rugby player of the year award.

Beauden Barrett (New Zealand), Dane Coles (New Zealand), Owen Farrell (England) Maro Itoje (England) and Billy Vunipola (England) are also on the list.

Seems fair enough. Coles has been better than Barrett for NZ.

    It's great recognition for Heaslip.

Coles and maybe Itoje would be the front runners for me.

    Can Itoje win both?
