Had a problem with it last march with heavy in lamb bought in ewes ( wont be doing that again ) they were housed and 5 became lame and didnt respond to a shot of LA alamycin, didnt want to turn them up so didnt realize straight away it was codd , when i did i went straight to vet and got injectable lincospectin separated the infected ewes and and gave them a shot daily for 5 days and also sprayed there feet with a hand sprayer full of soluble lincospectin for 5 days also, bit of a pain at a busy time as well as costing £150 but it did cure them fully none of the others got it and no problems since. I think the best thing to do is separate them asap and call the vet.

Thanks was tasking to my vet also gave similar advice said I could use supervo once off or linctospectin over 4 days.

Were you happy with them afterwards as in no problem with them ewes since ?? Or any other ewes ??

Touch wood no problems since , was kind of expecting it to rear its ugly head again and was told it probably would but so far so good. Btw i did keep them separated for 3 weeks after the lameness had gone . Best of luck with them.
