Relationship break up before court payout.

    OK. .been in relationship 18yrs 11 months..OH had a 5 year court case..I payed Solicitor €10/pw for 5 year's. .substancial payout..OH left me 6 months ago....wants certain belongings back..will not pay me back the money spent..on Disability so court will be really costly. .do I have any rights to at least what I payed the solicitor? Thanks.

    My free advice is never to trust any advice that you may get from opinionated and probably unqualified anonymous windbags on a web forum!

    That said, this opinionated, unqualified windbag suggests that you locate your nearest FLAC centre via the link below and make an appointment for free legal advice from a professional!

    5 years * 52 weeks * 10 euro = 2600 euro

    This is pure speculation, but I can imagine legal costs (outside of FLAC) might make trying to recover this money not worth the effort.
