Well folks. Myself and 7 other lads , all from Dublin are staying at this hostel for a weekend in December. I see its beside Sandy row. Is this a good area? Would we be ok to walk back to here from the city centre after a night out? Thanks in advance for the replies

Yes, it's fine. Don't mess with them and they won't mess with you.

You might want to consider not going into the pub across the road though! ;)

It's right besode one of Belfast busiest areas for nightlife, you shouldn't have any bother coming and going unless you act the prat.

If you guys are heading out to Laverys then it's perfect. Just don't be acting the eejit and you'll be grand. As Treadhead said though, probably best to give the Royal across the road a miss. The newly opened Five Points down on the Dublin Road or the Woodworkers beside Laverys are both lovely pubs which are more middle of the road.
